Thundercat feat. Michael McDonald & Kenny Loggins – “Show You The Way”

Thundercat‘s latest shockingly enlists legends Michael McDonald (Steely Dan) and Kenny Loggins for an alluring track built on plenty of blissful synths entitled “Show You the Way.”  The vocals meld perfectly over the beat crafted by Flying Lotus and Thundercat himself.   Look for the track on his next LP, Drunk, which will feature Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa dropping February 24.  Definitely press play below if you’re in need of a melodious escape.

After Flying Lotus dropped his trippy project contemplating the afterlife, leftovers from You’re Dead have now surfaced for your listening pleasure.  The tracks are short, powerful instrumentals  called “You’re DEad! – TDC Alt Experiment,” and two Thundercat collaborations titled “You’re Dead! – Haleys Line//thundercat” and “NO Feeer Thunnderrrcatt2010.” Enjoy all three exquisite pieces below.

Yes, you read that right.  Flying Lotus, Shabazz Palaces and Thundercat have all come together to form a supergroup by the name of WOKE.  Their debut track “The Lavishments of Light Looking” features George Clinton and the groovy track is currently streaming on Adult Swim‘s site.
