J. Cole – “Black Friday & Kendrick Lamar – “Black Friday”

This Black Friday, fans were treated to J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar remixing each others songs.  Cole spits over “Alright and K Dot raps over “A Tale of 2 Citiez.”  Both tracks are not only titled “Black Friday,” but exude excellence.  Rumored to one day drop a collaborative album together, the release leaves fans speculating.  Kendrick’s sister may have spoiled the surprise stating that their album has a February 16 release date.  For now, you can listen to both tracks below.

A Tribe Called Quest – “Bonita Applebum” (Remix by Pharrell Williams)

Groundbreaking Hip Hop group A Tribe Called Quest gets their classic “Bonita Applebum” remixed by superfan Pharrell Williams.  The smooth cut will be a bonus track on Tribe’s 20 year rerelease of People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm and will also feature J. Cole and CeeLo Green.  Look out for the album November 13.
